Slitting is in simple terms the resizing and proportioning of fabrics to provide more manageable sizes to work with. By using the exact size and proportioned fabric needed will vastly increase productivity with its use. If a fabric is large and longer than it needs to be it will be more trouble to handle and will possibly cause issues and mistakes in handling it. 

Slitting will allow for the fabrics that you have had manufactured or have had delivered to be cut up into more effective sizes for use.

For some organization's we are an integral part of their production, creating smaller sized rolls in length, width or both to facilitate their onward production processes. For others we are an emergency service when things do not go to plan. Examples of these include but are not restricted to:

• The customer’s supplier does not have rolls available in the required width in the time frame needed but has stock available in larger sizes.
